Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our fun team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to promoting oral health.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy.
- Conduct patient assessments and gather medical histories.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide the best patient care.
Qualifications:
- Valid state license to practice dental hygiene.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with dental software (Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
